Find BMW 1 Series Tyre Pressure

BMW 1 Series Tyre Pressure

One of the key parts of maintaining your tyres throughout their lifetime is making sure you have them inflated to the correct tyre pressure.

Tyre pressure affects your car’s handling, braking and longevity. If you do not maintain it at the correct level, you will likely notice poorer performances in these areas.

If you are a BMW 1 Series owner, you may find yourself wondering where you can find the recommended tyre pressure for your car.

Luckily your BMW 1 Series tyre pressure can be found in several places.

Finding Tyre Pressure Information for BMW 1 Series

If you do not know what the manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressure should be for your BMW 1 Series, two places you can check are:

  • Vehicle Handbook
    • There should be a section within your handbook which gives you the tyre pressure recommended by BMW. It will cover the ideal pressure for your specific model, as well as the tyre sizes and what the pressure should be depending on the load your car tyres are carrying (i.e. laden or unladen). This is normal found under a section call ‘Tyres’ or possibly ‘Tyres & Wheels’
  • Tyre Placard
    • The tyre placard is normally found on the door jamb on the driver’s side of the car. This is a sticker which will tell you the recommended tyre pressure for your car. Again, it will normally lay out the different requirements depending on whether your car is laden or unladen.
