Is British Superbikes Faster Than Formula 1?
In straight-line speed – sometimes. In overall lap time and circuit performance – not even close.
While British Superbikes (BSB) reach incredibly high speeds and demand extreme rider skill, they cannot compete with the sheer performance of a Formula 1 car. F1 cars have vastly superior downforce, braking power, and cornering capability.
However, BSB offers a visceral, raw style of racing that many fans find more thrilling – with more overtakes, closer finishes, and higher physical stakes.
