When Škoda's engineers were specifying tyres for the Elroq and Enyaq, they chose the Kumho ECSTA PS71 SUV. That's no small endorsement. OE fitment means a tyre has been tested, validated, and deemed the best match for a specific vehicle — and understanding why tells you a lot about what makes both the tyre and the cars so well suited to each other.
Two of Europe's Best-Selling Electric SUVs
Škoda’s Elroq and Enyaq have become genuine standouts in the European EV market. In 2025, the Elroq ranked as Europe's second best-selling electric vehicle with over 95,300 deliveries, while the larger Enyaq came in seventh with over 79,600 units sold. The Elroq has also picked up serious critical recognition, winning the German Car of the Year award 2026 and placing second in the European Car of the Year 2026.
Both models are built on Volkswagen Group's MEB platform and share a philosophy of practical, efficient, everyday electric motoring. Across their ranges, they deliver up to 335 bhp, 0–62 mph in as little as 5.4 seconds, and fast charging from 10–80 % in just 26 minutes. The Elroq brings this to a more compact package, offering best-in-class luggage capacity of 470 litres and a range of over 354 miles its most long-legged variants, while the Enyaq adds a roomier cabin and a 585-litre boot. Both cars are also receiving worthwhile updates for 2026, including a 21-litre frunk (or froot, if you prefer), enhanced Travel Assist 3.0, and new LFP battery technology in entry-level variants for improved longevity and everyday charging flexibility.
